We are spotlighting Erin Naanee who has been an iTAN franchise owner for four years! She\u2019s also crushing being a mom of four, CEO, business owner and mentor! Read on to learn more about her business and what inspires her to do what she does.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Why did you decide to start your own business?<\/b><\/h3>\n

16 years ago I was stuck behind a desk working in Corporate America and knew I was meant for something more. I wasn\u2019t sure what that was or what that looked like, but I knew I loved to help people look and feel their best which unexpectedly led me to open my first tanning salon location.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What made you choose to expand your business with iTAN?<\/b><\/h3>\n

I was looking to streamline my locations and join a strong well-known franchise that could take my current efforts to the next level. <\/span>iTAN\u2019s<\/span><\/a> core values and business strategies were in line with my goals and vision for my stores, which made it a great fit.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/b>How many years have you been a franchise owner?<\/b><\/h3>\n

Since 2018, 4 years.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What has been one of your biggest accomplishments in this industry?<\/b><\/h3>\n

Since the day I opened, my goal has always been to grow. Being able to grow month over month, year over year, exceed goals set and go from one location to five (and growing) has been such a great accomplishment to watch my hard work and dreams unfold.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What do you love most about your business?<\/b><\/h3>\n

I love getting to make an impact on my team. I believe in teaching them lifelong skills that will have an impact on them for many years to come, even past their time at iTAN. Being that we mostly employ young women, being a young woman in business myself, I love showing them firsthand what it means to go after your dreams while being a mom, a wife and a business owner.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/b>How do you balance a healthy work and personal life?<\/b><\/h3>\n

I have a great team beside me, I know that without them we can\u2019t deliver the experience that we do day in and out. I focus on empowering my team to let them have a large hand in the company, they add to what I could do on my own and it helps them to have ownership over their stores. We focus on having great systems to set everyone up for success from the store level up. I also have learned the importance of planning and controlling my schedule to allow me to give focus on both areas of life.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What is one goal you want to achieve for your business?<\/b><\/h3>\n

I would love to expand and grow our teams and stores to be able to have a greater impact on more guests and team members for many years to come.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>What key piece of advice could you offer to someone looking to become a part of the iTAN family?<\/b><\/h3>\n
